Our Facility

Over the Rainbow strives to be a home away from home for its children. Built within an old house, each room possesses its own charm and offers a warm, welcoming learning space.

The art room is filled with all sorts of materials to spark children's creativity and is accessible during free time each day. There is also a fully operational kitchen that the children often use to cook and bake with their teachers during group.

The play space is home to a dramatic play area including a number of costumes and a special wooden closet to hang them, a library reading space with a continuously changing selection, age appropriate writing and math learning centers, a "cozy corner" where a child can spend some alone time when/if needed, and two computers with age appropriate learning software. There are also two bathrooms and a separate sleeping area for preschoolers for early afternoon nap time.

The newly renovated outdoor learning environment includes a brand new four-person teeter totter, a play structure with two slides, a large sandbox and multiple ride-on toys. Summers are spent cultivating a beautiful organic garden that children eat from during snack or lunchtime, swimming pools and an elaborate water table while winters are spent frolicking in the fresh snow, sledding and making snowmen.

The families of the school have contributed their valuable time and energy to make our facility a second home for their children which makes Over the Rainbow such a magical place.
