Our Mission

To unite children, families, teachers, the community and the Earth through quality early childhood education.

Over The Rainbow – Nederland's Community Preschool (OTR) is a not-for-profit child care center which has been providing services for children (ages 2½ - 6 years), their families and the mountain communities since 2003. OTR is committed to an anti-discrimination policy in all of its programs and services.

Our holistic approach to early childhood education provides a fully inclusive educational environment. At OTR we promote the emotional, social, physical and cognitive growth of each child in our care in a developmentally appropriate, literacy-focused environment to ensure each of our children reach their own potential. Our nurturing and supportive atmosphere encourages our children to develop positive self-images.

At OTR, we recognize and respect that a parent/caregiver is a child's first and most important teacher. We encourage and support parent partnerships within our preschool.

Toilet training is not a requirement for access to our program.
